About Me
Hi, I’m Ross Mason ARAeS — an Aerospace Assembly Technician, part-time web designer, published author, and public speaker with a passion for precision, pride, and safety in everything I do. I’ve built my career on hands-on experience in both mechanical and electrical systems, supported by a strong academic foundation in engineering. I hold an EAL Level 3 Diploma in Engineering Technology and completed a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Electrical and Electronic Engineering — which has shaped my approach to detail, discipline, and delivering work that meets the highest aviation standards. At Safran Seats GB, I contribute to the integration of complex aircraft seating systems within an EASA Part-145 maintenance organisation. Every project I touch is about more than assembly — it’s about trust, safety, and knowing that what I build will be flying at 35,000 feet. Now, I’m taking the next step: transitioning into live aircraft maintenance. I’m currently studying for my EASA Part-66 B1.1 licence with a focus on defect rectification, modification work, and progressing towards full certification. This website is where I share my journey, my work, and the values that drive me — whether I’m building aircraft systems, speaking on safety, or creating web projects that reflect the same care and clarity I bring to aerospace.
